Harp Lessons
An Engaging Teacher
Alita Laurie offers lessons out of her home in Erlton (near the Calgary Stampede grounds). All ages from 3 - 103 are welcome! Alita is experienced in teaching students with and without any musical background.
Alita makes the lessons fun and engaging. She encourages her students to find their own voice through the music they play and to select their own pieces to learn. Through this student-led method, Alita is able to teach theory, technique, musicality and ear training.
She also is happy to work towards Royal Conservatory of Music Exams based on the students interest.
Lessons are offered for 30, 45 and 60 minutes for $50, $60 and $70 respectively.
Instrument Rentals range from $35 - $85 a month depending on the size/type of harp.
Alita offers ONLINE lessons via Skype, FaceTime or Google Meets for those who live out of town or can’t make it every week.
